LOGO ANIMATION

Logo animation is like sculpting. You start with the raw material - the logo - then break it down into its component parts, mold them into something different, and then bring it to life with animation. The final logo animation must balance complex movement and simple design to create a cohesive and visually engaging message.

 

I started experimenting with logo animations during COVID 2020. As a video producer and editor, applications such as Adobe Illustrator and After Effects have always been part of my toolbelt but with lots of time on my hands during multiple lockdowns, I quickly realized that I had the opportunity to push my creativity and explore different ways to animate. Logo animations offer the perfect creative arena to experiment with different ideas and techniques. Below is a small selection of work I picked up on Etsy.com - it started as an online marketplace for people selling physical arts and crafts but over recent years, 'arts and crafts' hav expanded to include digital works.
